My name is Dina Carpenito and I am the Founder and Owner/Baker/Cookie+Cake Artist at Space Cadet Baking Company.
My story begins with a big Italian-American family and a great love of food and laughter. Childhood celebrations at my grandma’s house full of savory and sweet treats like the mighty struffoli tower at Christmas or the pane di Pasqua at Easter. The first time I made my nonna’s ravioli recipe after she passed away I was overcome with emotion.
Food makes an indelible mark on us and creates strong connections to memories. It’s why I founded Space Cadet Baking Company. I want to help you make memories. Whether it’s an adorable sugar cookie from your baby shower, a slice of cake from your wedding, that amazing cupcake from your baby’s 1st birthday, or even that logo sugar cookie you got from a work event; it’s my job to help you make memories through our food.
